Tata Safari XMS, XMAS variants launched

Tata has sent off two new variants for its lead Safari SUV, XMS and XMAS, which depend on the current XM and XMA variants. The carmaker has evaluated these new variants at Rs 17.97 lakh and 19.27 lakh (the two costs ex-display area, Mumbai) for the manual and programmed variants. Both the XMS and XMAS variants of the Safari are Rs 1.17 lakh more costly than the XM and XMA variants, separately, because of the incorporation of new highlights.

For the new Safari variants, Tata is presently offering an all encompassing sunroof as standard, which was beforehand accessible on the XT+, XTA+, XZ+, and XZA+ variants. Notwithstanding the highlights accessible on the XM and XMA variants, the XMS and XMAS get programmed headlamps, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay network, a 8-speaker framework, downpour detecting wipers, electrically foldable outside rearview mirrors (ORVM) and an opposite stopping camera.

Tata has rolled out no mechanical improvements to the new variants of the Safari. They are both controlled by a similar 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel motor that produces 170hp and 350Nm of force. While the XMS variant gets a 6-speed manual gearbox, the XMAS variant gets a 6-speed programmed gearbox.
