In Australia, Suzuki revealed the Jimny Heritage edition. The three-door Jimny in this form, which has some cosmetic improvements, will only be produced in 300 units.
Suzuki Australia has given the Jimny Heritage edition unique retro-themed graphics with Orange and Red stripes on the sides and rear to commemorate the Jimny’s off-road heritage from the 1970s, ’80s, and ’90s. Retro graphics are also present, as well as a Jimny Heritage decal on the back fenders. The Jimny also receives Red mud flaps with a White Suzuki insignia. Only four colors—White, Jungle Green, Bluish Black Pearl, and Medium Grey—are offered in the Heritage version.
Suzuki Jimny Heritage Features and other details
Features for the Jimny Heritage are identical to those for the standard Jimny. It has leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, LED projector headlights, a rearview camera, and climate control.
The Jimny Heritage has not undergone any mechanical modifications from Suzuki. The 1.5-liter K15B petrol engine remains with 105 horsepower and 134 Nm of torque. According to Suzuki, the Heritage version will only be available with a 5-speed manual transmission. A 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox is still an option for the standard version. The Suzuki All Grip Pro four-wheel drive system is also included in the Heritage version.
