Nissan 400Z sportscar to debut on August 17

Almost a year after showcasing the prototype model in September 2020, Nissan has confirmed the launch of its 2021 Z car. The new-gen Nissan Z are going to be launched on August 17, 2021. The car which is probably going to be called the 400Z will replace the present 370Z model that has been in production for nearly 14 years now. While the corporate is yet to form any final confirmation about the looks and styles , several leaked pictures of the production-ready Nissan Z 2021 had found their thanks to the web .

Nissan has announced that the official debut of the seventh-generation Z sports car will happen on August 17. For the record, it’s not even a year since the Z Proto concept was previewed in September 2020.

Interior and Exterior details

As seen within the images of the car leaked earlier within the year, the assembly 400Z stays faithful the Z Proto concept. The long bonnet, rounded headlamps, large central grille and fast back like rear are throwbacks to the past generations of Nissan’s Z cars. The rear features a clean design with black trim that runs across the width of the rear and tail-lights that take inspiration from the 300ZX.

The cabin too remains on the brink of the concept’s with a driver focused layout, a digital instrument cluster, slim central air-con vents, an outsized touchscreen and analogue dials atop the centre console.

Engine details


The new 400Z is predicted to be powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol engine. Reports suggest that the unit could make the maximum amount as 400hp putting it during a similar ballpark to the new Toyota Supra which makes 340hp (the UK version). Gearbox options are expected to incorporate both a manual and automatic unit.

Final Conclusion

The upcoming Nissan Z are going to be powered by a 3.0 litre twin-turbo V-6 engine. While the small print of the facility output of the car are kept covert , reports suggest that the car could accompany a maximum power of 400 bhp. The engine may be a modified version of the one found within the Infiniti Q50 and Q60. The car gets a typical 6-speed manual transmission along side a 7-speed automatic drive . it’s presumably to retain the real-wheel drive feature.
