Mercedes has divulged the GLB reduced SUV. The vehicle offers a third column for 2 inhabitants up to 1.68 m in stature.

The GLB estimates 4,634 mm long, 1,834 mm wide and 1,658 mm tall. The 7-seater measures 1,662 mm in stature. The wheelbase is 2,829 mm (100 mm more than the B-Class) and the baggage space is appraised at 560 – 1,755 liters (5-seater).

Outwardly, the vehicle gets short shades at the front and back, LED headlamps, twin-brace chrome grille and a silver slide plate. The window line raises up at the C-column. The GLB has a straight rooftop and rooftop rails. At the back, it gets double tone guards with double fumes vents, rooftop spoiler with coordinated HMSL, and LED tail lights.

Inside, the GLB gets two screens for the instrument group and the infotainment framework, round AC vents and a 3-talked multi-work controlling wheel. The center line seats can move 140 mm fore and behind, and gets a 40:60 split choice. The backrest gets a 40:20:40 split. The discretionary third line comprises of retractable seats for 2 tenants with cup holders between the seats. The seats sit flush with the floor when collapsed. The third column gets side window airbags, ISOFIX and top-tie grapples.

The GLB will be controlled by four-chamber oil and diesel motors. The petroleum units are a 1.3-liter motor appraised at 161 BHP/250 Nm in the GLB 200 and a 2.0-liter motor creating 221 BHP/350 Nm in the GLB 250 4MATIC. The motors are matched to 7 and 8-speed double grip transmissions individually. The diesel is a 2.0-liter unit creating 148 BHP/320 Nm in the GLB 200 d and GLB 200 d 4MATIC. The motor creates 187 BHP/400 Nm in the GLB 220 d 4MATIC. The diesel variations get a 8-speed double grip gearbox.
